TPO is a great option for owners who prefer to self-manage their property and would like help finding and placing a new tenant. We take care of listing, showings and screenings to match you with a high quality tenant.

What is the TPO process?

Once your property is ready for listing, we draft a listing for you to review before going live. We’ll use photos you’ve uploaded for the listing or you can also have us capture photos for your property. We handle showings, offer price adjustment recommendations, and perform applicant screening while empowering you to select a high quality tenant. Once a tenant has secured the property, we proceed to hand over the tenant for your ongoing management.

How does Pre-leasing work?

TPO and Flex properties can be listed and shown as soon as an owner has set up their lockbox with key inside and provides property photos, property details, and consent from the current occupants for us to show the property while it’s still occupied. Pre-leasing requires owner photos because we are unable to take photos until a property is vacant.

How do long-term, furnished rentals work?

With Flex and TPO, we support long-term, furnished rentals. Properties can be partially or fully furnished. Note that owners will be solely responsible for any furnishings and Doorstead will not manage, repair, track, or move any furniture.

What are the optional add-ons?

TPO optional add-ons include: additional showings and rent-ready management. You may also choose to upgrade to Flex for full-service property management which will include rent collection, 24/7 maintenance requests and lease renewals.
