Our new strategy allowed us to invest in services that benefit the other 98% of your experiences as an owner – a first-in-class placement platform alongside our existing best-in-class management platform. The proprietary technology that powered the Rent Guarantee—including our autopilot pricing engine and multi-stage tenant screening—is now integrated into both current services. Owners receive the same performance metrics (we leased our Guarantee homes in 21 median days) while enjoying lower fees and greater control over tenant selection. Guaranteed rent means that a homeowner will always receive the rent owed to them. Homeowners use a guaranteed rent scheme to have someone else manage their property in exchange for a predetermined payment. The homeowner will still get paid, even if the property is empty or the tenant does not pay rent.
The Doorstead Guarantee meant that if a tenant does not pay their rent or the property stays vacant, Doorstead would pay the rent for a set period as a service guarantee to the owner. Doorstead provided a guaranteed rent and start date for your property once you requested an estimate on our website. We then inspected the property and took care of any repairs to get it rent ready.
